Joseph François Dupleix

Joseph François Dupleix was Governor-General of French India from 1742 to 1754, and the rival of Robert Clive. Under him, French power in the south reached its height. His statue still stands on the promenade.

This is the largest room in the house. A King bed, a two-seater sofa and a single seat, a dining table and a study table, pantry, wardrobe, a traditional fountain, a private Jacuzzi, and a street-facing balcony. The shower is attached. Space to dine, to sit, to bathe, and to look out on the street.
