Joseph de Montigny belongs to the French officers who served Pondichéry while the settlement was still taking shape. This is the smallest room in the house, and the most still.

A Queen bed, a study table and chair, a two-seater sofa, pantry, wardrobe, and a traditional water fountain. The shower is attached. There is no balcony — only the room, the fountain, and the rest of the house beyond the door.
